The West Coast Clean Transit Corridor Initiative Study recommends 27 massive DC fast chargers on I-5 from Mexico to Canada and another 41 on connecting highways to accommodate the growing number of heavy-duty electric trucks.
Jaguar’s Land Rover division is moving forward with commercial development of their hydrogen fuel cell drivetrain. They have concluded that fuel cells are the way to achieve zero-emission range for larger, heavier vehicles without overly-large battery packs.
Mayor's Climate Commission Adopts New Zero Carbon Report
At the most recent meeting of the “Mayor’s Climate Commission,” a report to reach zero carbon by 2045 was unanimously adopted. The “Mayor’s Climate Commission” is a joint project of the cities of Sacramento and West Sacramento.
For the week ending 6/26/20, refineries in California produced 274,344 gallons of gasoline and 76,944 gallons of diesel. This represents INCREASE in gasoline production of 9%, and a 5% INCREASE in diesel production from last week.
