1/23 - Renewable Gas 360
  • The Renewable Gas 360 (formerly Rethink Methane) conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. Topics will include building markets for dead trees to reduce wildfire risk, building markets for renewable hydrogen, reducing short-lived climate pollutants, managing overburdened landfills and methane capture.

4/13 - Green Technology Summit and Expo
  • The 2020 Green Technology Summit and Expo will be held in the Tacoma Convention Center on April 13 – 15. This year’s event will be combined with the US EPA’s West Coast Collaborative Partner’s Meeting, and will include fleet focused sessions on technician training, regulatory policies, vehicle, engine and fuel technology developments, and the future of mobility.

Dominique Meroux, a 2019 Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition Green Fleet Awardee, has been honoured as a member of the Ford Tech Team. Dominique served as an outstanding intern for Coalition for four years before receiving his Masters at UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies and joining the Tech Team.

Nissan Partnership With EVgo
Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition sponsor Nissan has formed a partnership with EVgo providing a $250 charging credit for anyone purchasing a Nissan Leaf on or after November 1, 2019. EVgo has the largest fast-charge network in the US.

Hyundai To Be Largest Fuel Cell Producer
Hyundai is aiming to be the largest producer of fuel cells and fuel cell vehicles with expected production of 40,000 fuel cell vehicles including cars and trucks by 2022. They will also be making fuel cell systems for forklifts, marine vessels, and drones.

GM Battery Factory
GM & LG Chem will invest a combined total of $2.3B to build a giant battery manufacturing factory in Lordstown, Ohio. The factory will supply batteries for the 20 electric vehicle models GM plans to be manufacturing by 2023.

Ford Rumored New Battery Mounting System
Ford is rumored to be considering a new crossover battery mounting system for the F150 EV to improve frame strength, improve ride and drivability, and provide capacity for significantly longer range. The truck has been spotted pulling a trailer over the Rockies.
