COVID-19 HNB-SLU FAMILY DINNER PROGRAM FOR SLPS FAMILIES
|
|
HNB-SLU Family Dinner Program for St Louis Public School District Families in Need due to COVID-19
Habitat for
Neighborhood Business-Saint Louis University Family Dinner Program for Families of Children attending the St. Louis Public Schools
Habitat for Neighborhood Business
, in conjunction with
Saint Louis University
, was able to facilitate and help fund more than 100,000 meals, primarily dinners, for the families of children attending the
St Louis Public Schools
whose parents are in need and who may be laid off or furloughed due to COVID-19.
HNB and SLU have arranged to provide the meals for SLPS school district families who are most in need through the
St. Louis Area Foodbank
during the next 4-6 weeks. After that time people hopefully will be back at work and/or receiving some government financial help.
HNB board, staff, mentors and friends of Habitat for Neighborhood Business at Saint Louis University have helped organize and fund this special
Family Dinner Program
. A donor has agreed to match donations up to $25,000 towards this effort.
If you would like to contribute to this effort, your tax-deductible donation will help SLPS families in need in the city of St. Louis to have food at this critical time. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
