Your weekly news & updates
This week in worship
I am home from vacation and looking forward to being back in worship with all of you again this Sunday. We are continuing our exploration of Paul’s letters and this week the text is Colossians 2:6-19. Paul is encouraging his readers to be rooted in Christ so that they can grow strong in Christ. He warns them to not fall for, “. . . empty deceit according to human tradition . . .” What do you think this means? What empty deceit is prevalent in our culture that we fall for? Communion will be served at all services and we are also celebrating new members and a baptism so it will be a great Sunday. Hope to see you then.
