Service Spotlight
Congrats, to our dedicated mentor Cameron-Battle Bradshaw for earning our June 2019 Mentor of the Month. Since January, Cameron has been the most dedicated mentor to her 10th grade mentee Cierra at The U School in Norris Square, Philadelphia. We are grateful for your service.
On June 2, 2019 DonCARES Executive Director Donovan Forrest promoted volunteer mentor Cameron Battle-Bradshaw to Director of Recruitment. Bradshaw has been a member of DonCARES since January 2019 and has served as a mentor to an 11th grade student at the U School.

Since being matched with her mentee, Bradshaw has been caring and consistent while working, attending school, and serving as a member of The National Council of Negro, Temple Section, and The Epsilon Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Incorporated.

In his initial dispatches to Bradshaw, Forrest described her as a mentor with indomitable work ethic and a blessing to have on DonCARES. Bradshaw will begin her duties this summer working directly with her fellow board members and president. The organization is set to begin their calendar year for the 2019-2020 school year in late September 2019.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 DonCARES of Philadelphia, Inc. welcomed Brianna Morales as the newest director to join their Governance Board. Morales, a consistent supporter of DonCARES initiatives and a longtime partner of the organization was invited to join DonCARES after a recent position was created.

"Brianna is one of the highest qualified professionals for the job. We've worked with her for the past two years with GEAR UP and Youth Action, Inc. and we are grateful to have her working with us at DonCARES." DonCARES Executive Director Forrest says.
