At their meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Board of Supervisors established, by proclamation, that the week of May 17 to May 23 will officially be recognized as Emergency Medical Services Week.

The Township is deeply grateful for the dedicated men and women on the squad who are always there to provide care, comfort, and support when it is needed most.

The Historical Commission created a short survey to gauge the community’s knowledge and interest in historic preservation in Lower Makefield Township. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by clicking the button below.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department wants to share important information about the use of electric scooters and bikes in Pennsylvania. PennDOT's Micromobility Information Sheet outlines how different types of micromobility devices are regulated under Pennsylvania law. Rules vary by device type, and some are not allowed on public roadways at all. As the use of e-bikes and e-scooters emerges, please take time to familiarize yourself and your family with these new regulations.

The EAC is hosting a Styrofoam and recycling event this Saturday.

Items eligible for collection:

• Clean, white Styrofoam
• Natural wine corks
• Clean amber/white plastic pill containers with tops (remove labels)
• Batteries (all portable types accepted)

The next LMT Dog Park orientation for new members will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7 pm at the Community Center - 1550 Oxford Valley Road. This orientation is mandatory for all new members.

Please make sure updated vaccination records are submitted to the Parks and Recreation Office or emailed to dogpark@lmt.org

In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026, all Township offices, including the Community Center at 1550 Oxford Valley Road, will be closed. All offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8 am.
