WELCOMING PARENTS BACK TO CHAPEL

Starting on Monday, March 28th, we are delighted to be able to invite parents to join their children in chapel. Please note the following:
  • Early childhood students have chapel on Thursdays from 10:30-11:00 AM.
  • Chapel for students in grades 1 through 6 is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:14-8:45 AM.

Adhering to the following guidelines will help make things flow a bit easier for all.
  • Please email your child’s teacher if you are planning to attend. The chapel is very full and we want to make sure we can accommodate a space for you to sit with your child.
  • Drop your child off in carline as normal.
  • Park and enter the TWC to check in and get a visitor’s badge.
  • Meet your child at the entrance to the chapel (south east side of the courtyard) and join them as they enter the chapel.
  • Please take your leave of your child as you exit the chapel. This make the transition back to class easier for all.
  • We do have some special chapel dates and activities, such as Stations of the Cross and Eucharist, so please check with your child’s homeroom teacher or the Family Newsletter for dates.
HAVE LUNCH WITH YOUR LOWER SCHOOL STUDENT

Parents are now able to join their child for lunch at the Lower School. Please let your teacher know via email and then plan to meet him/her at the entrance to the Cub Cafe. Families are welcome to eat in the Butterfly Garden, the tables outside the TWC, or the tables in the mulch area surrounding the Cub Cafe. At this time, we kindly request that parents do not ask children besides their own to join them. We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to our families once again.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR "MOVING UP" MEETINGS

TIGERS MAKING TRACKS
The Thursday before Spring Break, eight young ladies participated in the Brevard County Southern Division District Science and Engineering Fair. These ladies have been working hard since October on their projects and all stated that they had a wonderful experience with the whole process, including the judging. The student scientists were:

Scarlett Chung - Category: Environmental Science
Emery Elmore - Category: Plant Science
Mia McCarley - Category: Chemistry
Sofia Nevarez Soto - Category: Chemistry
Allegra Garcia - Category: Chemistry
Carrie Ann Conwell - Category: Physics
Zooey Flickinger - Category: Environmental Science
Zoe Della Cioppa - - Category: Plant Science

Four of these young ladies even placed! Congratulations to: Mia McCarley - 1st, Carrie Ann Conwell - 2nd, Zooey Flickinger - 4th, and Emery Elmore - 5th.

Congratulations to our HT Band. They participated in the Florida Bandmasters Association District Concert Band Musical Performance Assessment and received ratings of Excellent from three judges for their performance and a rating of Excellent in the sight-reading event!
Fifth and 6th grade art classes painted their own forgery! For the first time the 100 million dollar art collection of Micheal Jean Basquiat is currently on exhibit at the Orlando Museum of Art. One of the pieces is under scrutiny for possibly being a fraud. It has been removed from the show and is under investigation by the FBI. We tried copying the painting that has been questioned as we explored this common practice in the art world. The students discovered it isn't that easy to copy an artist's work and maybe not everyone can do this style of painting.
Tiger gears were turning during the Kindergarten Creative Workshop earlier this week...
CLASS OF 2022: COLLEGE COUNTDOWN
Got Graduation Tickets?

The form for ticket requests for this year’s graduation ceremony, taking place on Saturday, May 14, is now available on your senior’s onCampus page and can be accessed by clicking the YELLOW BAR that appears across the top. We will be taking ticket requests via this form until MONDAY, APRIL 4TH AT 8:00 AM.

PLEASE NOTE: The yellow bar will only appear on your senior’s onCampus page, so please be sure they know to complete the request or log in with them to complete it together to ensure that all members of your intended group(s) are counted and included.

Each graduate is guaranteed up to 10 tickets for graduation and every effort will be made to fulfill requests for additional tickets. If the form is not completed by April 4 at 8:00 a.m., the student will receive ten tickets. There will be no requests for additional tickets after the April 4 deadline. Families will be notified by mid-April about the number of tickets your family will receive, and tickets will be distributed the first week of May.

The ticket request form can only be submitted once. By completing the form, the student agrees to take into consideration members in his/her household(s) as well as any extended family or friends.

This form is for graduation only. At this time, no tickets will be required for the Baccalaureate ceremony on May 13. However, this is subject to change.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to The Scott Center for Worship and the Performing Arts. This will affect the number of tickets each family receives. If inclement weather seems likely, a decision will be made the week of graduation and further details will be promptly communicated to senior families.

Please continue to watch your emails for additional information regarding other senior celebrations.

Looking forward to celebrating this exciting milestone with you and your families!
