HT to Offer Drivers Ed: March 22 - April 6
Holy Trinity has partnered with A Treasure Coast Driving School, Inc. to help make teen drivers safer and more confident! This 22-hour long course includes 16 hours of classroom sessions for mental theory of driving, and six hours of in-car instruction. The course will take place from March 22-April 6 (Tues-Wed-Thurs) from 6-8pm at Holy Trinity.

Avoid the afternoon carline and have your student meet up with their friends and classmates at The Huddle - after school - at the Tiger Athletic Complex on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 PM. They can work on homework, group projects, study, grab a snack, or play a round of ping pong, spike ball, or corn hole.

Senior Priya Gutta has been named a 2022 National Merit Finalist! Only 15,000 students from across the U.S. are considered for this prestigious recognition. The program will award 7,500 Merit Scholarships from the group of finalists in March. This is a huge honor as Priya first earned the title of Semi-Finalist by scoring in the top 1% of all juniors who took the PSAT in the fall of 2020. Then, she had additional requirements to meet in order to be named a Finalist which happened this past Monday.

Holy Trinity will recognize all of our 2022 merit scholarship honors including Semifinal, Commended, African American and Hispanic awards and recognitions in the near future.

Senior Bella Muniz will compete at the HOSA State Leadership Conference in Orlando from April 9-12 in the Emergency Preparedness Epidemiology category.

HOSA, the Future Health Professionals (formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America), is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE).

Epidemiology provides members with the opportunity to gain knowledge about health and disease in populations. This competitive event consists of a written examination of concepts related to the study of epidemiology. Competitors are expected to recognize, identify, define, interpret and apply these concepts in a multiple-choice test. This event aims to inspire members to be proactive future health professionals and improve their scientific literacy as well as provide insights into public health careers.
