LOWER SCHOOL STUDENTS CARPE DIEM AT THE REGIONAL LATIN FORUM
Three of our Lower School Latin Enrichment students were recognized for going above and beyond to do an extra competition (against other local high schools) at the Regional Latin Forum held at the Upper School on January 29th. ‘Congratulationes’ to Rachel Dluglasch, Javi Montalvo and Abigail Martiney.

Latin helps prepare students for careers in law, medicine, science, music, theology, politics, philosophy, art, and literature. Holy Trinity has the top Latin program in the whole State of Florida! We wish the team all the best for the upcoming State competition in Orlando this April.

MELBOURNE CHAMBER RECOGNIZES HT SENIOR WIL BEL

Congratulations to Senior Wil Bell who received the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Young Adult Award at a breakfast reception on Thursday. The Chamber has a longstanding history of recognizing local area seniors who have exhibited strong leadership skills throughout their high school career. Bel was joined by Dr. Cobb, his Varsity Soccer coach Adrian Moreno, as well as his parents, grandparents, and other HT faculty and staff for this proud moment.
YOU CAN'T "TAPA" EXPERIENCIAL LEARNING!
Senora Leon's Spanish 3 and AP Spanish classes learned how to make Authentic Spanish Tapas this week including Huevos Endiablados, Pan con Tomate y Jamón Serrano to Pan con Tomate y Queso Manchego, Pan con Tomate y Chorizo, Pimientos del Piquillos Rellenos de Queso and Patatas Bravas.
Mrs. Dykes AP Psychology students are getting a life lesson in attachment theory with the much anticipated and egg-citing Egg Baby chapter. Students must care for their egg babies just as a parent would, 24 hours a day, for an entire week. They are graded on their egg carrier, a photo journal they must keep, their egg's attendance in school, and a final "egg baby report" on the experience. The only difference with this "egg-speriment" in parenting is that these eggs come with a manual!
Have you checked out the latest edition of The Growl - Holy Trinity's student magazine, or stayed in touch with weekly Upper School campus happenings and hijinks through our weekly broadcast?
