** IMPORTANT REMINDER **

As anticipated, COVID cases are on the rise in our school and community. We need your help to keep the numbers at a minimum by practicing sensible, yet responsible, mitigation strategies, just as you would for the flu or other highly communicable viruses.

If your child begins to show any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or has a fever (100.4 or above), please do not send them to school. It is imperative you keep them home. Contact your pediatrician/primary care physician, and Nurse Emily at the Upper School at ediaz@htes.org, or Nurse Betty at the Lower School bschwind@htes.org for further instructions.

We know this is an inconvenience and challenge for many parents, but it is vital we do everything we can to avoid interruption to the educational process, while keeping students and staff safe.

Dear Parents and Friends of Holy Trinity,

The football field at Holy Trinity's Kelly Stadium will transform into an outdoor amphitheater when big band crooner Michael Andrew comes to town on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Joined by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra (featuring our very own percussion teacher Mr. Brian Slawson!). Andrew will pay tribute to American legend Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits for An Evening of Elegance: Symphony and Sinatra.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is excited to announce the return of this signature fundraising event. This year’s Evening of Elegance, presented by Total Home Roofing and co-sponsored by Melbourne Terrace and Home Health Care of Florida, will feature local chefs serving New York-themed specialties, with concert-style seating, open bars and cocktail tables sprinkled throughout the venue. In addition to the concert, there will be a live auction and after party on the Fan Plaza, sponsored by the Lacey Family, featuring a DJ and dancing.

An Evening of Elegance’s central purpose is to support Holy Trinity’s mission of Educating the Whole Child: Mind, Body and Spirit. As Holy Trinity is a not-for-profit whose operations are not supported by government dollars or the Episcopal Diocese. This year, the funds raised from An Evening of Elegance will support Holy Trinity’s Performing Arts program.

We hope that you can join us for this exceptional night of music under the stars. This event is open to the public, so please help us spread the word by sharing this information with family and friends. Click the button below for more information and to purchase tickets.
Sincerely,

Dr. Katherine M. Cobb

Reha Patel Places 1st in Notice Lincoln-Douglas Debate!

This past weekend, Speech and Debate attended the Sunvitational National Circuit three-day tournament. This tournament was highly competitive and attended by 660 competitors from 113 schools in 24 states.

Reha Patel came in 1st Place in Novice Lincoln-Douglas debate! She is not only the first LD debater from HT to make it to the elimination rounds of Sunvitational, but also the first debater to make it to the final round at any national circuit tournament.

Brianna and Brooke Ramnath in Duo Interp also made it further than any prior HT speech or interp competitor, and received a rank of first in one of their rounds, but unfortunately missed the finals by one point.

We were also excited to have HT debate alum, Emily Cleveland (Class of 2019), judge for us this weekend.
