Jobapalooza!

HWS held its second annual Jobapalooza career fair on Saturday, June 11th. This year’s event was held at two locations simultaneously to accommodate even more job seekers and businesses. The event included food trucks, games, and career exploration activities, and was held outdoors at HWS and at the MCC South Campus.

The event was a resounding success for all involved. The warm weather and inviting atmosphere created a perfect opportunity for many in our community to invite friends and family to attend with them as they looked for employment opportunities. HWS received donations in excess of $1,800 from eight businesses to pay for food vouchers for many jobseekers which could be used at the food trucks. Approximately 30 businesses had tables at the MCC location, and over 20 more had tables at the at HWS. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's event!

Planning is already underway to make the event even better next year!
