Morse High School Students Gain Experience to Launch them into the Automotive Industry

On October 26, 2022, several news reporters were at Morse to highlight the phenomenal work Manny Cisneros, Morse’s new auto body instructor, is doing with our kids.

Morse has a partnership with the San Diego Automotive Museum and had the opportunity to help restore a 1913 Vintage Cadillac for a car show in Las Vegas. Our students are learning how to pinstripe vehicles and have the opportunity to pinstripe this Cadillac for the upcoming show!

Here are some links to learn and hear more about what our amazing students are doing in Auto Body at Morse!

Get Involved

On January 2023, Morse will host another Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) training for our parents/guardians.

PIQE is a national organization with evidence-based programs that engage, empower and transform parents to actively engage in their children’s education and strengthen parent-school collaboration. PIQE provides empowering information, skills development and support systems for families.

On January 18, 2023 at both 9 a.m. and/or 6:00 p.m., PIQE will host Session One of eight for interested parents/guardians.

Because we want to ensure that we offer sessions that allow for parents/guardians to attend, we would like those of you are interested in attending the PIQE classes to complete this brief Google Survey.

Representatives from PIQE will also randomly call some of our parents to invite you to our first session. They cannot call all 1700+ families, so even if you do not receive a personal invite, I hope you will join us. For more information, please read the attached flyers in both English and Spanish.
