Congratulations to Joana De La Torre on her admittance and acceptance to YALE UNIVERSITY!
This is an extraordinary accomplishment, particularly because Yale only admitted 4% of applicants this year. We love it when our Tigers get admitted to Ivy League schools. This is so exciting!
Congratulations to Joana De La Torre!!

Morse High School Garden Clean up!
In honor of Earth Day 2022, Morse culinary arts teacher, Mrs. Coelho, organized a garden clean up that transformed Morse's garden into the amazing learning and growing space it once was. Morse is so thankful for the volunteers who weed-wacked, raked, cut, and more to help uncover this garden.
We want to thank the following community members who donated their time and resources to make it happen...Community Master gardeners, Muriel King & Heather Holland; volunteers from (Phi Beta Sigma fraternity); Morse students; Janet Whited (recycling coordinator for SDUSD) and District 4 Council president Ms. Monica Montgomery.
