Platform and Curriculum Change

We will be changing from the K12/Stride platform and curriculum to...

For information including the announcement email sent to families on November 2nd, FAQs, a question and answer Padlet, recordings from the info sessions, and more, click on the link below. It is our goal to make this transition as smooth as possible.

We will hold a week of orientations beginning November 14th and families will have a checklist to work through as well. Please reach out to your advisor with any questions or concerns.

Open House is on November 16th at the OMSI. Reserve your free ticket by November 11th!

Join in the fun by tracking your miles or steps during the week of November 12th-18th!

  • 3.1 miles or 8,000 steps
  • Run, jog, walk, skip, etc. your way to a 5K
  • Students, staff, parents, LCs, and siblings are encouraged to participate
  • Earn a certificate and a pin
  • Post your progress on our Turkey Trot Padlet!

As we move to our new systems, I will continue to support your students with small groups and help times and can also offer extra support to families in learning to use the new systems. 

Crushing It!


During the month of October, the kindergarten, first, and second grade classes held weekly competitions to see which class could spend the most time working in Reading Eggs. We are so proud of everyone who participated! Altogether, these students spend 633 hours learning and playing in Reading Eggs during the month of October. Way to go!

Hi ORVA family… Wait, sounds like we’re now Evergreen Virtual Academy. So many changes and so many of us Learning Coaches, have students who don’t do well with change. So, we’re going to focus this month on helping our students who aren’t so good with change, cope with change.
