The world is running faster and growing more complicated than ever. The work that holds the modern world together depends on people who know how to think critically, make with their own hands, and measure performance that matters. The T.J. Rodgers Laboratory within RLE exists for those people. In the lineage of MIT’s Radiation Laboratory—which united scientists, engineers, industry, and government to advance radar—the Rodgers RLE Laboratory carries forward a simple idea: put talented researchers from many disciplines in the same room, give them tools they can trust, and help guide them through the rough patches.

This year, the Rodgers Lab served hundreds of researchers advancing quantum computing, photonics, microfluidics, RF engineering, bioelectronics, and more—delivering substantial value to MIT through shared equipment, rapid prototyping, and hands-on technical support. Demand continues to grow, and the problems keep getting harder. To meet them, we are asking for your support. Your contribution strengthens a place where tough-tech ideas become real, where young engineers learn the craft of building with rigor, and where MIT researchers can solve problems the moment they encounter them. We invite you to help us keep this laboratory operating at the level the work deserves.
