Join us for an exciting afternoon showcasing URI’s vibrant startup ecosystem! Hear pitches from student winners and faculty innovators across sectors including healthcare, with keynote address from John Soderstrom of Yale University.

Portal @ Ocean State Labs Launch Event | Wednesday 9/24 | 4-6:30pm

Come celebrate the soft launch of Ocean State Labs with Portal Innovations, bringing together the state’s life sciences community to highlight how the new lab will drive startup success ahead of its 2026 opening. The evening will feature remarks from Mark Turco, CEO of RILSH, insights from Rahul Dhanda, CEO of Syntis Bio, and the leadership at Portal Innovations.

The third annual Innovation@Brown Showcase, hosted by Brown Technology Innovations (BTI), celebrates the spirit of innovation in and around Brown University. The event features an awards ceremony recognizing BTI’s Inventor of the Year, Startup of the Year, and Innovation of the Year, along with a showcase of 20–25 Brown-affiliated ventures.

Bryant Global Trade Summit Day 2, Navigating U.S. Trade Strategy and Innovation | Friday 9/26 | 12:15-1:30pm
