A lot of work went into creating this plan, thanks to our dedicated volunteer Board Members and staff who gathered feedback from communities and organizations across our district. The result? A refreshed Vision, Mission, Values, and Priorities!

Parkland Valley District Grants - Apply Today!

Explore these three grant programs designed to support play, volunteer development, and community engagement. Apply today and bring your ideas to life!

Have a new idea for sport, culture, or recreation program? This grant offers up to $1,500 to help launch or enhance community initiatives. Choose from four deadlines throughout the year.


First Deadline: April 15, 2025

This grant helps offset costs for running a FREE summer play program. Communities, libraries, museums, and recreation boards can apply for up to $500 to cover supplies, equipment, and instructor costs.


Deadline: May 15, 2025

Need support for volunteer training? This grant helps cover cost for workshops and skill-building opportunities in sport, culture, and recreation. Apply for up to $500 to strengthen your volunteer team.


Closes: January 31, 2026, or when all available funds have been distributed

Museum Improvement Micro Grant for Community Museums


The Museums Association of Saskatchewan is offering Museum Improvement Micro Grants of up to $2,000 to eligible community museums.


Priority will be given to projects that reflect Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) and contribute to community well being.


  • Application Deadline: May 2, 2025
  • Project Dates: June 2 - November 14, 2025
  • Reporting Deadline: December 5, 2025
