Message from the Divan

A Special Meeting was held June 24, 2026 to elect a new Potentate due to the resignation of Ill. Sir John "J.R." Radziunas.

Chief Rabban Joseph Piatti was elected Potentate, the current officers of the Divan all moved up to their next position and Wayne Bedore was elected to be Oriental Guide.

We congratulate the new Potentate and look forward to working together.

Shriners Children's New England

Amanda knew from the moment her son, Casey, was born that something wasn’t quite right.

Amanda began researching information about infant head shape abnormalities and continued to advocate for Casey to be evaluated by a craniofacial specialist.

At Casey’s six-month check-up, the pediatrician made a referral for cranial remolding care at Shriners Children’s New England. There, Amanda found a supportive team of specialists ready to answer all her questions and guide her through every step of Casey’s treatment.

Trunk or Treat is Back!

Shriners Children's Boston

Thomas is a quiet yet confident young man as he sits in the lobby of Shriners Children’s Boston with his wife.

He is eager to share his story as a burn survivor and former patient, hoping to inspire children at the same hospital where he recovered.

Since graduating from care at Shriners Children’s, Thomas has become a husband, father and self-taught pianist. But one of his biggest accomplishments happened within the hospital walls: he gained the ability to eat again.

Join us for the 7th Annual Boston Haunted Walk at The Garden at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Our family-friendly walk and fall festival benefits pediatric burn care, reconstructive plastic surgery, and cleft lip and palate care provided at Shriners Children’s Boston, regardless of families’ ability to pay or insurance status.

Sphinx Hospital Transportation News

We are looking for drivers & Ride Alongs to transport Connecticut patients to Shriners Children's New England (Springfield) or Shriners Children's Boston. Drivers leave from Newington, pick up the child and parent/guardian at their home, transport to Shriners Children's and then return them home. Some trips take the better part of a day to complete. Please consider volunteering for this very important job.

Sphinx Shriners Caravan Club

The Caravan Shrine Club is a social club open to all Shriners. We also welcome the members' Ladies, as well as the widows of Shriners.

The Caravan Club meets on the Second Wednesday of the month, except July & December at the Athenian Diner II, 864 Washington St., Middletown.

Attendees order off the menu and pay for themselves.
