Annual Street Paving Program

Keeping Lemon Grove Rolling- 2026 Paving Program Starts in August!

Our streets are more than just pavement—they are the lifelines of our community. Thanks to local voter support of Measure T, the City remains focused on revitalizing our 69 miles of streets and other infrastructure such as sidewalks, storm drains, and more. This dedicated funding makes it possible to tackle critical road repairs and deliver the smooth, safe roadways our community deserves.

Wondering if your road is on the schedule for repaving?

A full list of the 64 streets to be repaved is now available, alongside details on the City’s Annual Street Paving Program.

Be Waterwise This Summer & Plant Native Landscaping

Water-wise landscaping, or xeriscaping, is a sustainable approach to garden design that minimizes water use and saves you money by reducing outdoor water consumption. Fewer weeds means less time spent on mowing and pruning. Native gardens also support local biodiversity, save natural resources, and require less fertilization. To learn more about installing native landscaping at your home or business, visit the Busy Bee Garden Coop Pollinator Pathway or the San Diego Native Plant Society.

Lemon Grove Park Restroom Upgrade

City crews continue with site demolition and site preparation for the prefabricated restrooms. The old restroom building has been removed and utilities have been capped. Crews will be working on preparing the pad to meet the compaction requirements of the restroom manufacturer. Installation of the new modular restroom will take place in mid-August! In the meantime, there are portable restrooms available for folks using the park.
