It's Nearly Spring

Spring is a fantastic time to get back into flying or to start flying more. The days will be longer and the weather will be warmer. Plus clocks get set back in ten days which means the sun will be setting after 7pm. Longer days mean more time for flying. Time to get up in the sky after work and catch the beautiful sunsets.

February was great month of flying here at the airport. We had another six students fly their first student solos along with two new Instrument rated pilots.

We also had several submissions for the photo contest this past month! Check out our winner. To participate, see details below. Winner receives a Princeton Airport T-shirt.

A 3% surcharge is now being placed on all credit card transactions. You can still pay by cash or check with no surcharge. Details are below.

Avionics installations have expanded. Check out the latest and greatest avionics for your aircraft by contacting Ken or Jack. They have many satisfied customers. You could be one too.

Credit Card Billing

We now accept Apple pay at the front desk. As of March 1, 2024, a surcharge of 3% will be applied to all credit card transactions. The 5% bonus for cash or check payments still remains.

Winter Operations... Just In Case

Winter Operations are still available in March. This means, if it snows and you have a hangar or tie down that you would like to be plowed out, please call the FBO 609-921-3100. The more notice you give us, the better. Snow moves easier when it is not frozen over, so please plan accordingly. Same goes for removing snow from your plane if it kept in a tie down spot.

Next PAFT Meeting Wednesday, March 13th @ Cafe Graziella

Our next PAFT meeting will be Wednesday March 13th at Café Graziella, at 6 pm. This is a social evening, without a speaker. Please RSVP on the web page at paft-nj.org so we can have a number for the restaurant.

At our prior meeting on February 7th, we had two excellent speakers talking about aircraft ownership. Member Bill Rauh spoke about his experience buying his first plane, and guest Steve Merrill spoke on his experience “dry leasing” a Cirrus SR22. There was lots of great discussion.
