How AutonomouStuff is enabling university research
From our collaboration with Virginia Tech College of Engineering in 2011 continuing into the summer of 2021's collaboration with the National Advanced Driving Simulator (NADS) at the University of Iowa, AutonomouStuff has been working with universities around the world to enable automated research and development platforms for a wide variety of studies.
With University of Iowa, we provided the platform, and are also providing a full scale autonomy stack that will be capable of driving in live traffic. This produced the Ford Transit 350HD automated shuttle that embarked on a two year journey through the rural roads of Iowa. Another example of our university partnerships is the research and development that came from the University of Cincinnati Next Mobility Lab. Here we provided their team with a critical tool needed for their research: a small fleet of Lexus RX450h Automated Research Development Platforms.
AutonomouStuff continues to establish lasting research partnerships across the university systems around the world to advance and accelerate the development of autonomous technology.
You can learn more about our work with the University of Iowa, Virginia Tech and other universities here.

Quantum introduces the R6000
Quantum has developed the R6000 specifically for high-speed data capture in vehicles. This new solution in Quantum's R-Series ensures large enough storage capacity for in-vehicle loggers to collect sensor data for an extended period of time. NVMe flash storage is used to ensure extremely fast data collection and data transfer. And as you've come to expect with other R-Series devices, this system continues to provide the robust and reliable architecture and conforms to MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-STD-461F specifications.

Highlights from our first in-person event of 2021: XPONENTIAL 2021
On August 16-19, the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) hosted its annual event in Atlanta, Georgia. And with the return of in-person events, AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021 (XPO21) designed a new program of keynote speakers, educational sessions, safely facilitated networking opportunities, and expanded their XPO Hall. The theme of this year's event was Assured Autonomy.
AutonomouStuff successfully exhibited at AUVSI XPO21 and thoroughly enjoyed the in-person engagement where attendees were able to experience all things autonomy and positioning.
