Luminar Iris LiDAR sensor
Luminar’s Iris is the most advanced LiDAR solution built from the ground up that solves the fundamental problem of reliable, long-range sensing for real-world systems. Luminar works with the majority of major automakers, providing Iris for series production programs starting in 2022 to partners like Volvo Cars, Daimler Truck AG and Intel's Mobileye. Luminar's Iris utilizes 1550nm and enables an extended range up to 600m, while remaining eye-safe. The Iris LiDAR sensor operates at temperatures from -40C to +85C under harsh conditions including shock and vibration. AutonomouStuff's knowledgeable team can assist to recommend the best sensor technology for your application and provide the expertise and customization needed to deploy the new Iris LiDAR sensor from Luminar.

Meet the team: Nausheen Ahmad
Nausheen Ahmad started in October 2021 with Autonomous Stuff LLC, part of Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning Division, as Engineering Manager for By-Wire-Systems and Firmware. She comes with 18 plus years of experience with Caterpillar Inc. Her last few jobs in Caterpillar include – Providing aftermarket solutions for Oil and Gas customers, Electrical Systems and harness design for Earthmoving machines.

Nausheen completed her Master's degree in Computer Science from Bradley University and her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from India.

“This is my first job outside Caterpillar. I am excited to be a part of Autonomous Stuff - this is a company that uses cutting-edge technology to offer solutions to the customer. “
