Assessments

An assessment through CanLearn provides valuable information about strengths and challenges in areas such as learning, attention, mental health and behaviour.

Friends and Teen Talk Groups

Friends and Teen Talk is a fun and engaging social and emotional skills learning program for youth in Grades 7-9. This winter we will be offering groups and 1:1 sessions for youth to learn and practice skills for making friends and handling emotions.


Teen Talk Winter Groups will be held:

Mondays from January 22 - March 18, 8-weeks

  • 5:00pm – 6:00 pm (Grade 7)
  • 6:30pm to 7:30pm (Grades 8 and 9)

Calm Kids, Happy Families

This is a 6-week group for parents with children (aged 6-12) with ADHD and related conditions. Learn strategies, problem solve, discuss, and seek advice on best supporting your child's social, emotional, and behavioural needs.



Winter registration is now open!

Online Parent Sessions will be held:

  • Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 pm from January 23 – February 27, 2024.



Child Sessions will be held at the CanLearn Society:

  • Saturday mornings, January 27 – March 9, 2024 (No session February 17).

Let's Talk ADHD

Living with ADHD as an adult can leave you feeling frustrated and misunderstood. Fortunately, there are strategies you can learn to help manage your symptoms of ADHD.



Winter Registration Now Open!

  • Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, January 24 – March 6, 2024.

This program will be offered once a week over seven weeks with in-person and online options to choose from.
