New Format

Caring Palms is changing the format of these newsletters to tell new changes/happenings, make announcements, show class dates, and include articles. While that is similar to what it has always done, the focus will be more on articles. Caring Palms is still teaching Reiki classes and offering mediumship readings.

The phone number (904-246-2206) will remain viable as there is a way that it comes to my cell phone along with my cell number and I will know which number one is calling. Also, the business line can now receive texts as it is no longer a landline.

Again, if you no longer wish to receive these newsletter, please unsubscribe at the bottom. When I do manage to find time, I will be deleting those people who have not opened any in a while.

Reiki Classes will be Announced in Next Newsletter

Next years Reiki classes will be announced in the next newsletter (January). I am looking at starting classes in February with with a class each month (Reiki 1 February, Reiki 2 March, etc.). I will schedule a Reiki 1 and 2 in August for those last minute CEU procrastinators.

Once I decide the dates, I need to check availability with the hotel. Once cleared, I will publish them here and on thee website.

I can teach two people out of my home, but no more. I require a minimum of four to teach at the hotel due to the cost of the room.

If you are interested in a Reiki class, call, email, or sign up at the website once they are established. If you want a class for two, please call and we can set something up.

Imagination and Intuition

What a wonderful combination. Can you think of a better pairing? I can’t.

I was writing our annual holiday poem, something we do every year (thus the word annual). We write a version to Clemment Clark Moore’s “A Christmas Story”, better known as “The Night Before Christmas”. I came up with this part of a stanza…

With a product of imagination added to intuition,

Anything can be created and brought to fruition.

Now, I know spirit helps me in whatever I write, and this silly stories we tell each year, are no different than the articles you read in the newsletter. And seeing how this appeared, I know those words did not originate from me. But look at how true they are.

It says that anything you can dream up can come into being if you allow your intuitive side to have a broad hand in the creation. Yes, a dream can become real. Look at all the science fiction that has been written over the last century, and how much of it has come true. Computers, handheld devices that can get you information from all over the planet, space travel, medical break throughs. 

Yes, it takes the dream to come first. But then it takes the intuitive to listen and see how things can come together. As long as you are open, you will see it.

Once you have the dream, and listen to that which intuition gives you, you have the two main partners. But once the partners have shaken hands and agreed to work together, you need some important helpers, like belief, faith, and desire. 

First, without the desire to create something, it matters not what you dream and intuit. You have to want to see something created. That is the main driving force in any creation.

Next you need to believe that it can be done. You can not think you are going to create something if you don’t truly believe you can. 

And finally, in walks faith. Now you might think faith is the same as belief, but it is different. Belief tells you that you can do something. Faith gives you overall feeling that keeps you going. You need faith, faith in yourself, faith in others, faith in what you have the desire to create. 

All these things need to come together. And when they do, anything is possible. 

Season of Giving

It is the season of giving. And while I know I covered something like this last year, I wanted to make sure that while you are giving to others, you make sure you give to yourself as well. 

Give yourself time, love, patience, happiness, and let them lead to joy. I know a lot of people that believe that caring for themselves is being stingy. But in truth, you can not care for others unless you are at your best. And to be at your best, you need to step back from all the chaos. You need to take that cleansing breath, to hit that reset button, and to charge those batteries. 

Yes, it takes a moment. But take that moment. You deserve, as do the people you care for.

A season of living.

Living the life.

Loving the life.

Coming to grips with realty.

Embracing the fantasy.

Settling somewhere in the middle. 

Walking through the dream.

Stumbling through reality.

Bringing the dream into reality.

Creation.

Fruition.

Belief.

Faith.

They are all pieced together.

They are the glue of the fabric of the universe.

Listening.

Hearing.

Sensing.

Feeling how things should go

And helping them to get there.

Forcing your will.

Allowing your will to change.

Learning to go with the flow.

Embracing the all that there is.

Choosing a piece thereof.

We learn.

We grow.

And we learn some more.

This is the energies that is us

mixing with the energies of all that there is.

Mix well, and then pour.
