The building will open at 8:00am for students buying breakfast.

Students not eating breakfast may enter the building at 8:20am.

The Delaware City Schools preschool program will begin accepting peer model applications for the 2026-27 school year on October 1, 2025. The application can be found at DCS PEER MODEL APPICATION

Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming SOON!

Get ready for a reading adventure with the newest books, bestselling series, and kid-favorite characters. Plus, every purchase earns funds for more books for our school.

Book Fair will begin October 5th and run through conferences on October 15th. Classes will shop during their scheduled library times and during conference times.

HELP WANTED.....

Set up will begin on Friday, October 2nd, and students have the opportunity to shop October 5-15. Also, there will be two opportunities to shop in the evening. Volunteers are needed for set up, student shopping times, and tear down.

APEX SUPER HEROES

We have had such a fun and exciting week with our Apex Team Leaders, Cesar and Kicks. Our students have learned the values of being an uplifting friend, staying steady and calm, and have loved seeing their teachers get soaked in the ice bucket challenge. There is still one more week of fun, including the FUN RUN.
