Our snow plow has been delivered to Conger! Ms. Peery is organizing a plan for our 1st - 5th grade students to decorate the snow plow during the weeks of October 14 -28. It will be displayed for November’s First Friday for the Delaware community to vote for their favorite. Be sure to VOTE for our plow submission, and look for it on the streets this winter. Our plow will be used for snow removal!

Just a reminder from ART CLASS: Mrs. Peery would like to invite all parents to scan the code below to link to Artsonia. This will give you access to your child's Art Work and Art class activities.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Opportunities

Conger Elementary partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to offer school-based support to our 3rd and 4th grade students! Students are matched with college volunteers from Ohio Wesleyan athletic programs, and these volunteers serve as friends and mentors, and some 3rd graders are able to work with SourcePoint volunteers, often working on many fun activities and projects together! Students meet with their “Big” here at Conger, typically on a weekly basis during lunch and/or recess, and they often continue meeting with them from year-to-year! If you would like to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, please visit bbbs.tfaforms.net/4841623 and click "school based" to register as soon as possible. Spots are limited and may fill up quickly!

PANORAMA

Delaware City Schools values input from all community stakeholders including our students, as we work to improve our communication, academic programs and the overall experience for everyone. Our commitment to supporting the social and emotional health of our students is paramount in our strategic plan and the work our staff has done over the past couple of years.

In order to learn more about student experiences at school, we will be asking our students in grades 3-12 to provide feedback via an online survey twice each school year (October and March). The survey will cover topics including sense of belonging, self-management, emotion regulation, and engagement. Given the current learning environments and challenges facing our students, this feedback will provide valuable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt to meet their needs. We are partnering with a third-party vendor (Panorama) to support us in administering these surveys and all responses will be confidential.

The survey questions can be accessed using these links:

Grades 3-5

Grades 6-12

If you have any questions or concerns about this survey, please reach out to your child's school counselor or the school office.
