Dear Friends,

Wowsa! What else can I say??!!

We held our 2022 “Style for Hope” luncheon on Friday, March 11, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome! We were privileged to host over 400 attendees while we celebrated two very special clients and one extra-special volunteer. We also honored Josie Natori with our annual “Style Icon Award”; Ms. Natori and her team could not have been more generous with their time and contributions!

We have not tallied our final numbers; however we know that we raised over $100,000 to help us continue our work of assisting women in Palm Beach County as they return to work. There are so many that we must thank for the success of this event! We so very much appreciate our luncheon committee members who put so much time and energy into launching the amazing event; our bevy our sponsors, without whom the event would not be nearly as profitable; the plethora of volunteers who helped before, during and after the event; and all our attendees, so many of whom also made a cash donation in addition to their ticket purchase.

It is so difficult to express the extent of my gratitude, but please let me try!! Thank you, many times over; we could not exist without your support! To repeat my closing statement from the luncheon: Collectively we can empower women to achieve economic independence!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our cherished volunteer and supporter, Donna Broder who passed away last month after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Donna joined DFSPB as a volunteer approximately five years ago and was willing to take on any task, large or small, to help our clients and our organization. She served as an administrative assistant and during the pandemic she helped monitor voicemail when we were closed. She was also one of the first volunteers to return our boutique reopened.

Beyond using her time to support us, she was also a donor member of our Circle of Impact.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to her friends and family and are thankful that they have chosen to also support our organization in lieu of sympathy flowers.

We will greatly miss Donna and are forever grateful that we had the opportunity to call this amazing woman our friend!

Style for Hope Luncheon

We would like to thank everyone who attended this year's Style for Hope luncheon! It was another amazing event that featured our Style Icon award winner, fashion designer Josie Natori who was interviewed by WPTV Channel 5's Kelley Dunn; heartfelt client stories; and a beautiful tribute to an unforgettable volunteer and supporter of our organization, Donna Broder. Guests also enjoyed a delicious lunch and an opportunity to bid on incredible items in our silent auction. A special word of thanks to our luncheon committee and all of our volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event special.
