A Stimulating Way to Add to our Discretionary Fund!
In an unprecedented move, our Board of Directors approved a $20,000 discretionary fund during 2020, after which we raised a matching $20,000, in order to provide direct assistance (rent, food, and utilities) to our clients who had lost their jobs or had their hours reduced due to the pandemic. This fund is now depleted but the need remains.
One of our supporters recently donated the amount of her stimulus check to this fund as she was not in need of the money and preferred to donate to someone who was. If you find yourself in a similar situation, please consider donating to our discretionary fund.
