Message from the Director
Thank you so much for participating in our Halloween Party! I was so proud of our families; every child was in costume! Halloween is such a big deal for preschoolers, and here at Global Village the day was a huge success. Everyone loved their costumes, and they really got into character. We got pictures of each kiddo! Check out some of them below. A very special thank you to Rouba Abdoulnar & Antoine Awwaad, Suzanna and Jesus Chavez, and Michaely & Jhossua Rosas for bringing so many treats and helping to host the party!
I want to thank, in advance, Cielle Ward for bringing a book fair right to the school in the first week of December, perfect for holiday shopping! Also, a big thank you to Denisse Coffman - our parent volunteer who has taken on the responsibility of putting this newsletter together. You guys make our little community feel like family!
Thanksgiving makes November all about family and community. We want to keep the good vibes rolling, so we will host a
Parent Information Night on Friday Nov. 16 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
There will be some snacks, coffee and juice, a chance to meet other parents, talk to your child’s teachers, take a look at our classroom materials and student assessment tool, ask questions, find answers, schedule your Parent-Teacher conference or sign up as a volunteer for some of our upcoming events and projects. I know I speak for all of the teachers and myself when I say it is a privilege and joy to work with your children each day. We are dedicated to their success, just as you are!
Some of you are going on vacation over Thanksgiving or Christmas. Please shoot me an email so we can plan for your child's absence and see if you have any vacation time accrued. Thank you for keeping us in the know!
