Greetings!

At JAE, we are dedicated to bringing the best in the Jewish visual arts to the widest possible audience. Our mission is to educate the wider world on the contributions of the visual arts to Jewish civilization.

We look forward to presenting at your location.
THE WARSAW GHETTO STREETS 1943
Israel Bernbaum, 1979
My Brother's Keeper
This program is derived from a book by Israel Bernbaum, who dedicated it to all the children on our planet. He offered his ardent wish that they live in security in a world of love, brotherhood, and peace.

The title comes from Genesis 4:9. God asked Cain about the whereabouts of his brother, Abel: “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Cain replied. God said that ‘the voice of your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.’

Through the author’s illustrations and documentary photographs, he tells the story of the Warsaw Ghetto and its uprising. The artist/author calls for a world where human dignity is respected and human life is sacred.
SHRINE OF THE BOOK
The Art of Israel
THE ART OF ISRAEL surveys the history of the land through art objects. It begins with the building of King Solomon’s Temple, and continues with the Jewish catacombs, the synagogue mosaics and the establishment of the modern State of Israel. This program follows the sweep of Israeli history while focusing on the visual arts and artists of recent centuries. THE ART OF ISRAEL highlights this most important country and its artworks.

From Our Audience
Here is what our audience members are saying about our recent programs:
Marc Chagall’s Jerusalem Windows

Chagall's work is so poetic.

Chagall was such an interesting person.

One of our favorite presenters.

I always get a lot out of these programs.

You all do a monumental job of putting these programs together.
The Art Of Purim

That was wonderful! (1st time attendee)
