A recent article published in Forbes detailing the amount of America’s charitable donations, broken down by sector, placed health care among our country’s top five priorities. In South Florida, the subject of health care, and the need to support our underprivileged communities through philanthropy, has truly become a social responsibility.

During Miami Swim Week, our foundation was named as the charity of choice for one of the most glamorous events of the week. The Swim Week Fashion Brunch, which took place at The Setai Hotel, featured a Saks Fifth Avenue Swim and Resort Wear fashion show with the latest swim designs of the season. Guests in attendance had the opportunity to hear about our cause and make a donation.

We are proud to announce that Silvia Rios Fortun will join Fana Holtz as Chairs of the upcoming Golden Angels Gala on January, 20, 2018. The highly anticipated signature event. taking place at SOHO Studios, will officially kick-off Jackson Health System’s 100th Anniversary.

In honor of the upcoming Guardian of the Children Luncheon, Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland and Fendi have joined hands to benefit our Guardian Angels with a private reception that will celebrate the new Fendi Boutique at Saks. On November 17, our Guardian Angels will be celebrating the 19th Annual Guardians of the Children Luncheon & Fashion Show, one of our most anticipated fundraising events of the year. The luncheon is scheduled to take place at the JW Marriott Marquis and it will feature a Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland "Resort 2018" fashion show.
