Outstanding Visual Arts Community

We are delighted to announce that our district has again been recognized as an Outstanding Visual Arts Community by the Pennsylvania Art Education Association. Only 39 districts across Pennsylvania have earned this endorsement, which recognizes school art programs for their rigorous standards, highly-qualified educators, efforts to support inclusion, and their programmatic accomplishments. Congratulations to our amazing art team, Mr. Mannion, Mrs. Ferber, and Mrs. Rosenburg for bringing this distinction to #NHSD.

NHS Education Fund Supports our Future STEAM Wing

Philanthropy Launches New Learning Opportunities

The New Hope Solebury Education Fund's Celebration at the Barn event helped raise $12,000 to provide innovative educational experiences for our students. Pictured above, Mr. Marrone explained to guests how philanthropic donations helped launch a brand-new K-5 coding and robotics curriculum and will give our students the extraordinary opportunity to build and code drones this year. There is still time to donate and support cutting-edge technologies for our HS STEAM Wing! Learn more by clicking on our wish list.

LIONFEST

Mark your calendars for an exciting event coming up on Friday, October 14—our first-ever districtwide LionFest! This is a fantastic way to support our student clubs, sports teams, and affiliate organizations while enjoying carnival games and tasty fall-themed treats! Bring your whole family to cheer for Lions Athletics, grab Walking Tacos or Chick-Fil-A from our Football Booster Club, and visit the carnival next to our Stadium Field to enjoy cider doughnuts, have your face-painted, play pumpkin tic-tac-toe, and more. Lions attire is encouraged!

Community Happenings

The MS Parent Teacher Group is hosting its annual Mum Sale in partnership with Living Earth. Orders are due October 5.

The HS Parent Teacher Forum is selling New Hope-Solebury car magnets for $5.00 each. Order your magnet and show your NHS pride!

Our Boys Soccer Team will host a car wash on Saturday, October 8 in the First National Bank parking lot. Proceeds support the team.

Support our local Girl Scout Troop at their car wash fundraiser in the McDonald's parking lot on Saturday, October 8.

Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church will host an Art Show to benefit the Urban Promise Trenton Scholarship Fund on Saturday, October 8.

Registration for the Solebury Township Parks & Recreation Intramural Basketball Winter 22/23 Season is now open. Program runs December 2022 - February 2023 at the New Hope-Solebury UES Gym.
