We are improving care for our youngest patients, keeping them in Niagara
in new ways. This includes the addition of five new beds on our
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and video technology that allows
our emergency teams to partner with McMaster Children’s Hospital.

Care closer to home for infants
Niagara’s tiniest patients will have care closer to home thanks to the addition of five new beds and resources on Niagara Health’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The unit can now care for babies with more complex health issues, allowing families to stay in Niagara for their care.  Read more
