"Why We Create Sunday"
Karen Kilty, Director of Children's Ministries
There is no Sunday School this Sunday. Childcare for Infants to 4 year old will be provided by Laura Anastos, our Childcare Provider and Teaghan Kay, our Youth Assistant. Each Sunday they provide a warm welcome to the youngest children and families, offering a safe and nurturing environment to help the children grow a sense of belonging in church life.

Next Sunday, November 17th Dara VanRemoortel and Sarah DelDotto will join us in Sunday School, leading us in song for a “Why We Sing Sunday”. Join us for a fun and inspiring morning.

Meet Laura Anastos, Childcare Provider for Infants-4 Year Old s

Hi I’m Laura, I am 28 years old and I’m from Danvers Massachusetts. By day, I am a toddler teacher at Magical Beginnings in Middleton MA. By night, I am a mother of a four year old little girl named Lily. I enjoy camping, running, baking, painting, kayaking and spending time with my family. Lily and I are so excited to be a part of this special program at the church and I enjoy spending time here and helping teach the children and watching them grow each week!

Adult Faith Formation:
Manna and Mercy
Lindsay is leading a group studying the book Manna and Mercy, which presents the history and storyline of the Bible. Our hope is that this will give us all a chance to deepen our understanding of the Bible, and to piece together some of the stories we know (does Daniel in the lion's den happen before or after Noah and the Ark? Who are all those prophets? Why are there four gospels instead of just one?) Books are available for purchase. The group meets in Parish Hall at 9am and again at 11:15am for those who cannot make the 9am time . If you have any questions, please contact Lindsay at:

Marblehead Food Pantry Collection
As we have done for many years, ONC has made a commitment to fill the shelves of the Marblehead Food Pantry during the month of November.   During this month of Thanksgiving, it is a wonderful opportunity for us to show how thankful we are for the blessings we have been given and for us to make sure that others in the community, many of whom are less fortunate, will also be provided for. At each of the Sunday services, brown bags will be available with a list of suggested items to fill the bags. Filled bags may either be returned to the Narthex or left in the hall way at Stacey Street. The Outreach Ministry Board will deliver the bags to the Marblehead Food Pantry. Please contact Lynda Hare at 781 639 0107 or [email protected] with any questions. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
