Why We Sing Sunday
Karen Kilty, Director of Children's Ministries
This Sunday, Dara VanRemoortel will join us in Sunday School to lead us in song as we share the story of Jesus' Baptism. We will open our time together with the story “When God Made You”, a beautiful book that helps us to become more and more aware of Gods love for each of us, and how God celebrates how special each of us are.

Holiday Bake Sale Thank you
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Community Life Ministry Board's Holiday Bake Sale last month (bakers and buyers). We raised close to $500! We packaged up the leftover cookies with fruit and delivered them to ONC friends who aren't able to attend church easily. We appreciate everyone's efforts!

Old North Winter Trip
For the fifth year in a row, we are organizing our annual winter trip to NH. Last year, over 60 ONCers headed north for skiing, hiking, ice skating, community meals, bon fires, smores, board games, and a Sunday service in the woods. As is the case across all ONC activities, inclusivity is a central theme. The trip is open to all ages, all interests from skiing to reading a book by the fire, and does not require any association with the church. This year, we are making the trek on the weekend of 2/7 to 2/9.  We have rooms blocked at Whitney's Inn in Jackson, NH. If you call to book, mention that you are with Old North Church in Marblehead. Also, please let Mark Roberge know if you plan to attend for planning purposes or if you have any questions. ([email protected])
In Case You Missed It!
There was a wonderful article about Maria VanKalken's Music Ministry and 31 years directing the Old North Festival Chorus in last week's Marblehead Reporter. Please click here to read it in case you missed it!

Name Tag Update
The Community Life Ministry Board continues to try to ensure everyone has a new magnetic* name tag, but sometimes we miss one, or we may
not get your name the way you'd like it. If you need a name tag, or a new name tag for any reason, please let us know. Thank you. *People with pacemakers should not wear the magnetic nametags. Heart patients might want to check with their doctors.
