Travis lives in Rocky River and works for Frantz Ward LLP in downtown Cleveland. He was first introduced to Providence House through a program called OnBoard Cleveland.“We got to tour the house, hear its story, and how it helped families and kids throughout the area. I thought it was a really cool program and it just so happened that they were accepting applications for the PHriends group. I decided to apply that weekend,” said Travis.

What are you most excited about with the PHriends Associate Board?
I hear the events are awesome. Rumor has it we will be having an event at Progressive Field (I’m a baseball fan) so that should be fun. Also, raising money for the house and families of Cleveland is always the goal, and something I am excited to get involved with.

Why should someone join the PHriends group?
It’s a great organization and helps keep families together – so, what more could you want? It’s also very easy to join. I’d also recommend joining the PHriends Associate Board. The people in the group are great and everyone has been very supportive. Just as an example, I think I had two or three people reach out to schedule zoom meetings within a week of joining the group. We are all busy, but they took some time out of their day to reach out and say hi – which was nice.
