POAH, officials and residents celebrate opening of modular affordable housing near Boston


SOMERVILLE, MA – Somerville Mayor Katjana Ballantyne (center), partners and residents joined POAH to celebrate the first move-ins at the new 20 Stephenson Aman Apartments in Somerville, MA, a 168-unit development that marks POAH's first all-modular building and the first phase of a comprehensive redevelopment of Clarendon Hill state public housing.

POAH closes on construction financing for its first affordable development in Maine


PORTLAND, ME – POAH has closed on the construction financing for Lambert Woods North, a 72-unit apartment complex in Portland, Maine that will provide critically needed affordable family housing in a growing high-cost market. This is POAH’s first development in the state of Maine and is a collaboration with local partner Maine Cooperative Development Partners (MCDP) which secured the site through an RFP process issued by the city in early 2021.



The development’s six buildings are designed to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready standard and will be sited to maximize open space and tree coverage while providing optimal exposure for solar energy arrays.

 State grant to provide senior housing development in Southeast MA with high speed internet access


ATTLEBORO, MA Attleboro Mayor Cathleen DeSimone (third from right) joined with Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech), Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) and POAH to celebrate the delivery of high-speed internet to Gardner Terrace I – a 92-unit affordable apartment building that once was a jewelry factory in a city that was once known as "The Jewelry Capital of the World.” The delivery is one of 50 POAH properties that will receive high speed internet under the grant.

 POAH will join Far South CDC and DL3 Realty for major development at W. 115th St. and S. Halstead


CHICAGO, IL - POAH will join the Far South Community Development Corporation and DL3 Realty to build Morgan Park Commons - a multi-phase, mixed use development that will include 244 residential apartments, retail space, a performing arts center, and a new 2-acre park for the neighborhood. The development will reintegrate the property into the city grid with the dedication of a new W. 114th Pl and S. Peoria St.
