POAH's development receives $40M Choice grant

HUD representatives presented a $40M Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant check to Mayor Daniella Levine Cava for the redevelopment of POAH's Cutler Manor property and the surrounding Goulds neighborhood. This project addresses the critical need for affordable housing among Miami-Dade residents, who are among the most rent- burdened in the nation.

Salem, MA

Renovations improve sustainability, provide free broadband

POAH completed a $40M renovation at Salem Heights that included a complete replacement of the building envelope (siding, sheathing, windows and roofs), major upgrades to the building systems and free internet access

Residents sign up for free WiFi


Free broadband access for Salem Heights was made possible through the CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) program and ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding from the City of Salem. Close to 200 Salem Heights residents who live in 120 of the 281 apartments in the development have signed up!
