IRS Issues Standard Mileage Rates for 2023

The Internal Revenue Service has issued the 2023 standard mileage rate increase for calculating reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle for business purposes. The reimbursement for personal car mileage covers fuel and vehicle maintenance. The Oracle Expense system has been updated per IRS guidance.

There is no action required from you. Effective January 1, 2023, the standard mileage rate will be $0.655/mile. These rates apply to electric and hybrid-electric vehicles, as well as gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles.

Extended Deadline for Procurement/Expense Training

It has come to our attention that many individuals were not aware there was a deadline to complete the NEW Procurement/Expense trainings rolled out to RU Marketplace users on December 5, 2022.

Keeping in mind our winter break and vacations, we are extending the completion date of the required training until March 31, 2023.

The extension applies only to those who have a due date of February 3^rd . All others must complete training by their listed due date

Supplier Data Cleanup

In conducting routine supplier master cleanse activities, we have identified legacy suppliers in our database with critical information missing. To mitigate the risk of fraud, and erroneous and duplicate payments, we will be deactivating these suppliers in February 2023.

Please visit our website to view the list of suppliers we will be deactivating, and action to take if there is a warranted business need to continue to use the supplier.
