Happy New Year! We had a busy 2018 filled with growth that included new employees, retailers, distributors and distribution abroad. Requests from our retailers for a natural solution for flea & tick treatments resulted in 7 major industry awards for our Flea & Tick Natural Dog Shampoo. I'm also pleased to announce we will be adding to our successful flea & tick assortment with Flea & Tick Wipes that we will debut at our Booth #401 at the Global Pet Expo in March. We will also introduce a bevy of new organic and all-natural pet products and a new catalog that we will send out and post prior to the show.
Along with numerous product awards, several of our employees were recognized for leadership accomplishments throughout the year. I am very proud of our achievements this year and know that a good part of our success is largely attributed to our loyal retailers.

It's quick and easy, convenient to use, and leaves no residue. Simply massage into your pets coat and towel off quickly. Brushing is helpful to remove extra dirt and debris as well as loose hair and dander.

The 8th annual Eco-Excellence Awardsrecognizes excellence in environmental sustainability for products & services. Over 500 products were reviewed, 1 Million + unique visitors, and over 364,000 fans voted! We were honored to win 4 awards for:
Pet Business uses its annual Industry Recognition Awards as a platform to honor standout products across a variety of pet care categories. Their editors searched through hundreds of press releases, as well as the aisles of the industry’s major trade shows and even local pet store shelves to find the most exciting and functional products that the industry has to offer.

With the new year we'll continue our sponsorship of Paws for Life K9 and provide you with updates and ways you can help and get involved with this amazing program.
Paws for Life
The PTSD Service Dog Program is growing and expanding under the leadership of Alex Tonner, a Pet Age Vanguard Recipient. The program of inmates training service dogs for U.S. Veterans has now expanded to include first responder's who can also suffer from PTSD.
During the recent California fires in Southern California, Paws for Life temporarily housed 21 dogs from shelters that were in eminent danger. They made it their mission to not return the dogs to the shelter - all were successfully placed in forever homes by Christmas.
Reading Isn't Ruffis a special program from Paws for Life K9 Rescue. With this free children's literacy program, children build confidence in reading by practicing with a four legged friend. Reading aloud to a non-judgmental canine ambassador creates a positive experience for readers of all levels, and reading skills can improve up to 2 grade levels by reading just 10-15 minutes a week to a dog over time.
Children
are learning to improve their reading with Paws for Life K9 CGC dogs.
Blue is being trained by an inmate for her Canine Good Citizen Training for adoption.

You can also easily download directly from the links below.
If you follow us on social media, you may have seen some fun changes. We've networked with influential pet bloggers who have been testing and reviewing product. As they post their reviews and tag us, we've shared with our followers. Some of these Bloggers will receive 500-700 likes per post, and many of their followers now following Pura Naturals Pet. This uptick in web traffic as also been seen on our retail locator.

Starting the New Year with a New Law for Organics
The U.S. organic sector celebrated the official signing of the new Farm Bill into law on December 20th. This new law brings big wins for organic farmers and consumers and advances critical priorities of the organic sector, including permanent funding for the Organic Research and Extension Initiative program and important steps to modernize federal efforts to prevent organic fraud, to create a transparent marketplace, and ensure that every stakeholder in the organic chain plays by the rules.
