Update on the

Pleasantville Forward Capital Project

Dear Pleasantville Families and Community Members,

As the week comes to a close, I want to provide you with an update on the Capital Project. Since my last update in the October 10th Pville Press, we held a community forum along with many conversations with community members about the project. As a result, we have created a question-and-answer document, and the Board of Education is going to establish a Lights Committee.

Questions and Answers: This document was created to address the common questions being asked about the Capital Project. It is anticipated that this document will be updated periodically.

Letter to the Community from the Board of Education: The Board of Education is inviting community members to be on a lights committee to discuss the lighting portion of the project, discuss parameters for use of the lights, and develop recommendations for the board to consider for a lights usage policy.

All past and future communication about the Pleasantville Forward Capital Project will be posted to our website.

Best of luck to all our students competing in post season play.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

For the youth,

Dr. DeSa

Halloween at Pleasantville Schools

Happy Halloween from Pleasantville Schools! Yesterday our halls were full of princesses, superheroes, and cartoon characters. Parades, celebratory breakfasts, and coordinated group costumes were the order of the day.
