SHARING OUR GOOD NEWS
STEM Welcome Gavin Rubin as new Physics Teacher
My name is Gavin Rubin, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in Secondary Education. Since I was in high school, I have been obsessed with physics. In my senior year, I was enrolled in four separate physics classes! I was a nerd through and through, but my favorite part about learning the subject has always been sharing it with others. I would hold free tutorials for anyone willing to listen to me ramble on about inertia and energy. When I got to college, I held biweekly physics reviews for students struggling with a complicated subject. And now that I am graduated, I am enthusiastic to be a teacher introducing students to the wonderful world of physics for the first time. Teaching is my passion, and I am proud to be part of the STEM team
STEM'S RETURN-TO-SCHOOL PLAN
For all in-person learners, if you are sick DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL. There is helpful guidance via the Close Contacts documents and the COVID-19 Health Screener that can be found via our informational pages.

Additionally, all in-person learners must wear a mask/face covering that is appropriate (if you can shine a light through it, it is not adequate) and it must be worn over the nose at all times. (unless eating/drinking)

Please keep in mind that when you come to school sick, it increases the anxiety, fear and stress of our staff. Check out the websites via the buttons below to see all of the important information.
