Student Success Stories

Health & Wellness Fair

Our first annual Health & Wellness Fair was a success! Students who attended learned about resources to help them lead healthy and balanced lives. Many of our students reported these benefits:

  • Learning about counseling resources.
  • Learning about support groups they can join.
  • Learning about recreation activities such as the adult basket sessions and exercise classes.
  • Learning how to apply for cash aide and benefits.
  • Getting flu or COVID Vaccinations
  • Getting diagnosed and receiving free medicine for high blood pressure and/or diabetes.

If you didn't get to attend this year's Health & Wellness Fair, don't worry! We are already making plans to offer one next year.
