Student Success Story
Meet Samra Alrubaidi
Samra's Road to Success
Samra Alrubaidi started in our ESL Program at Sanger Adult School in 2017 when we held our classes at Wilson Elementary School. She studied hard to learn to read, write, understand and speak English.
She challenged herself and entered our High School Diploma Program towards the end of the 2019 school year.
Samra continued to work hard in our Independent Study High School Diploma Program for several years. During that time, Ms. Alrubaidi completed all 170 credits needed for graduation with a 3.76 grade point average! Samra wrote and delivered a speech at the graduation and won a scholarship for the Medical Assistant Program.
Ms. Alrubaidi has completed her Medical Assistant class work and is now doing her externship training in a doctor's office.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, Samra will be able to get a job in a hospital, clinic, blood bank, or doctor's office.
Congratulations to Samra for creating her goals and sticking to her plan!
