Your monthly news & updates
A message from our President & CEO, Melody Keeth
Not only is June the month to celebrate all the amazing Father's out there it is also Men's Health Month. According to menshealth.org, the purpose of Men’s Health Month is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. This month gives health care providers, public policy makers, the media, and individuals an opportunity to encourage men and boys to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for disease and injury. The response has been overwhelming with thousands of awareness activities in the USA and around the globe.

We would like to wish all the wonderful Dad's out there a happy and healthy ather's Day!

Warmest Regards,
Melody R. Keeth

Introducing Marni Sawicki , guest speaker for our
13th Annual Purses With a Purpose
October 12, 2018
Elected in 2013, as Cape Coral, FL’s first woman mayor, she served the state’s 10th largest city from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, she was awarded the "Elected Women of Excellence Award" from the National Foundation of Women Legislators. With a Masters degree in Business, she founded Indigo Pros, Inc consulting firm in 2013, after serving over 25 years in senior management roles at companies like State Farm Insurance Companies and National Interstate Corporation.
Her life changed on June 24, 2017. While at a US Conference of Mayors conference in Miami, FL, her ex-husband violently abused her exposing her secret publicly for the nation to see. Instead of running from it, Marni vowed to use her experience to help others. In January 2018, her ex-husband pleaded guilty to Third Degree felony charges of "battery by strangulation". The judicial process and roadblocks ignited a passion within her to see to it changes are made to protect victims.
Being a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault, as both a child and an adult, Marni understands first hand the challenges victims face as they maneuver through the judicial system. Using her voice and her contacts as a former elected official, she is committed to advocating for legislative changes and educating others on the abuse cycle and effects of victim shaming.

We are so very excited to have Marni join us on October 12th and share her story.  Be sure to save the date!!, vendor information, to donate to our silent

Did you know?
Serene Harbor has donation drop off locations throughout Brevard County?

Given the support we have throughout our community we have established Donation Drop off Locations for your convenience. These locations are specifically for the items listed on the poster please. Unfortunately, we do not have the storage for clothing, furniture, household items, etc. We refer these items to either Nana’s House http://nanaschildrenshome.com/ or The Women’s Center http://womenscenter.net/ as they both have Thrift Stores and partner with us when we have a need.

For a complete list of our donation drop off partners please visit:
