News from CHTI

This past June 2022, 27 nurses and 12 midwives graduated and immediately started working at local health facilities.

CHTI begins a new academic year with 52 new students entering in August! 30 of these students will follow the nursing course and 22 will follow the midwifery course.

We also welcome the new CHTI director, Dr Bindhumol George (Sisters of St Joseph of Chambry), who arrived in Wau on 17 September 2022. She has a degree in medicine and surgery and was also a consultant gynaecologist at St. Joseph's Hospital (May 2012 - August 2022).

Thank you to the CHTI teachers, students and graduates who contribute substantially to the development of a healthy, peaceful and prosperous South Sudan!
