The Sycamore Township Trustees hold public meetings regularly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m., with some exceptions. The next meeting will take place Tuesday, April 14th at 6:00 p.m.

North Trash Bash: April 10, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & April 11, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., McDaniel Sports Complex, 7841 School Rd.
South Trash Bash: April 24, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & April 25, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Bechtold Park, 4312 Sycamore Rd.

The annual Trash Bash events for Sycamore Township residents are back this spring!
Maintenance staff will be present at the Trash Bash to assist residents with the disposal of trash, junk, debris, old tires, used motor oil, construction materials, furniture, lawnmowers, appliances, and electronics. Mattresses and box springs will also be accepted if they are wrapped in plastic or a plastic mattress bag.
Oil-based paint, household chemicals, and pesticides will be accepted at the SOUTH TRASH BASH ONLY. Latex paint and yard waste, including brush and leaves, will not be accepted. Latex paint may be taken to Matthew 25 Ministries at 11060 Kenwood Road. Helium tanks are not accepted.
Both the North & South Trash Bash are for Sycamore Township residents only, so please be prepared to show proof of residency.

Spring Compost Give-Away
In the spring and fall of each year, Sycamore Township opens the composting site located behind Hartzell United Methodist Church located at 8999 Applewood Drive for the distribution of wood chips and leaf compost that has been collected by our road crews throughout the year. Well received by local gardeners, it is available to Township and non-Township residents alike.
Township Maintenance personnel will be present to assist in the loading of the materials and will be monitoring and limiting quantities. No semi trucks permitted.

No Dumping in Public Roadway!
If you are performing yard maintenance tasks or home remodeling, please note that it is illegal to place obstructions within the roadway, so please do not dump mulch, gravel, or other materials on the public roadway. You will be cited. It is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure contractors they employ know that dumping in the roadway is prohibited.
Dumpster rentals are also prohibited on public roadways and should be placed on a paved surface on private property.

Storm Damage Procedure
In the event of a storm with widespread damage in the Township, the Sycamore Township Maintenance Supervisor may declare a “storm damage condition” has occurred. When a “storm damage condition” has been declared, residents must call 513-791-8447, or fill out an online request within two (2) working days after the storm to have the branches picked up at no charge. The storm damage should then be placed at the curb within two (2) weeks of the storm.
