About the program : This webinar will focus on upcoming ICD-10 updates for fiscal year 2020 (Oct. 1, 2019—Sep. 30, 2020).  The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released many ICD-10 coding updates that can impact a physician's diagnostic coding accuracy. These new ICD-10 code descriptions include 273 additions, 21 deletions, and 30 revisions, effective Oct. 1, 2019, which will increase the code set from 71,932 to 72,184 diagnoses.

Special program offers tips and tactics to improve patient experience
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network are hosting a special, limited seating program to help practices with tips, truths and tactics related to patient experiences and coding.

The program will provide tactics for helping patients follow treatment protocol and improve office work environment and staff satisfaction, and share the latest information on closing gaps in care. The sessions are designed to be interactive and educational. The program targets physicians, office managers, patient experience leaders, coders and billing staff.

Learn about the latest in clinical care management of type 1 diabetes at a special educational workshop on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 .

This complimentary interactive workshop focuses on providing the latest information in type 1 diabetes (T1D) management for primary care clinicians. Case examples and presentations from experts in T1D care are used to demonstrate how diabetes technologies, adjunctive therapies, and psychosocial care can help improve patient engagement and outcomes.
