Christmas Day Service

The Christmas Day Eucharist will be at 10:00 am in the Cathedral on Tuesday, December 25.

Modified Service Schedule on Sunday, December 30

There will be a modified worship schedule on Sunday, December 30. Services will be at 7:45 am and 10 am in the Cathedral and at 11:15 am and 6 pm in Keenan Chapel.

End of the Year Reminder

As you think gratefully about God's wonderful gift to us in Christ during this season, please remember God's work through Trinity Cathedral. Your hearty participation will allow us to proceed with ongoing and new programs in the coming year. Please remember Trinity as the year draws to a close and you prayerfully consider a year-end completion of your giving intentions!

No Wednesday Night Supper This Week

There will be no Evening Prayer, supper, or Wednesday night formation this week. Wednesday night activities will resume on January 9, 2019.

Epiphany Lessons and Carols

On Sunday, January 6 there will be an Epiphany Celebration. Epiphany Lessons and Carols will be at 4:00 pm in the Cathedral followed by the burning of the greens. There will be a parish oyster roast and chili supper in the Cathedral Courtyard following the service. Cost is $10 per person and includes oysters, chili, cornbread and adult beverages. 2019 Nominations for Trinity Leadership

Trinity's Vestry has approved a slate of nominees for 2019 leadership positions to be elected at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 27, 2019. The positions include Senior Warden, Junior Warden, six Vestry members, two Trinity Foundation Commission members, and two Diocesan Delegates and an Alternate. The Nominating Committee gave careful consideration to the decision of slate vs. contested election and, for a number of reasons, decided that a slate would be the better choice. Any nominations from the floor must be received by the church office at [email protected] at least one week prior to the Parish Meeting. Any floor nominations must include a statement that the nominee is willing to serve and a short description of activities and service at Trinity and the community.

2019 Kanuga Parish Weekend

Trinity's Annual Parish Weekend at Kanuga will be February 1-3, 2019: “Doctor, Cure Yourself” (Luke 4: 21-30). Join us for a weekend of mindfulness and wellness to prepare ourselves for a Lenten practice of being able to be more effective disciples for Christ. Weekend activities include mind space yoga, spiritual hikes, “The Sacred Enneagram: Finding Your Unique Path to Spiritual Growth,” and family fun and fellowship for all ages! Click here to registe r. Bazaar Grant Nominations

Nominations for grant recipients of the proceeds for the 2019 Trinity Bazaar will be accepted from January 1 - February 1 , 2019. All nominations should be emailed to Jessica Shand at [email protected] .

Quarterly Memorial Service

The next Quarterly Memorial Service will be Tuesday, January 8 at 5:30 pm in Keenan Chapel. We invite you to attend as we pray for your loved ones who have joined the saints in Heaven in the last three months.

Annual Parish Meeting

The annual parish meeting will be on Sunday, January 27 . We will observe a modified version of our summer worship schedule that day (Holy Eucharist at 7:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the cathedral, Holy Eucharist at 6:00 p.m. in Keenan Chapel), and the annual meeting will take place in Satterlee Hall immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. Light refreshments will be served. All members of the parish are encouraged to attend.

Yoga with Ellen

A new series of Yoga with Ellen one-hour classes will begin at 10 am on Tuesday mornings and will run for the dates of January 8,15, 22, 29 and February 5, 12, 19 and 26. The class will meet in Room 222 (new location) and will concentrate on grounding, balance, and increasing flexibility and strength.
