Tessa has been with WCLA Credit Union for over 18 years, making her the longest tenured employee of the credit union. Although she has worked at both banks and credit unions, she prefers the smaller, nonprofit, member-focused aspect of the credit union, specifically supporting the niche financial needs of those in the timber industry.
Tessa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Washington. She has worked in banking for more than 25 years, where she started as a teller and transitioned from front office to back-office duties, eventually landing on finance/accounting and operations management.
Recreationally, Tessa enjoys traveling, reading, visiting breweries, and adventuring on both two and four wheels with her husband Jeff and their new bulldog, Missy.
